My Tribe Jewellery launches limited-edition collection supporting Charlotte’s Vision and the National Breast Cancer Research Institute

My Tribe Jewellery has unveiled a limited-edition collection of eleven handcrafted pieces—spanning earrings, neckpieces, and rings in their studio recently with an array of locals, influencers, family and friends. With 20% of proceeds donated to Charlotte’s Vision, a charity partner of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI), dedicated specifically to funding metastatic (stage IV) breast cancer research.

The collection is available now at mytribe.ie/product-category/charlottes-vision/

Michelle Hynes, a Tuam native, is the creator and owner of My Tribe Jewellery, she launched her jewellery line earlier this year after more than three decades working in glass design, said giving back is central to the brand’s ethos. “I’m delighted to be able to do something for this amazing charity—it’s a privilege,” said Michelle. “What Charlotte’s Vision has achieved in just three years is fantastic.” Drawing on her background in colour, form and storytelling, Michelle’s My Tribe pieces are bold and sculptural—striking torcs, modern neckpieces, statement earrings and rings—designed to elevate contemporary styling. Each piece nods to the Tribes of Galway and Ireland, rich in symbolism and craft, making the range compelling for personal wear and editorial use alike.

For Charlotte’s Vision, the collaboration is about awareness as much as funding. Chairperson Caroline Downey explains: “Everyone hears about breast cancer; however, metastatic breast cancer is something many aren’t familiar with. It’s when breast cancer spreads to another part of the body. Thanks to research, around 90% of early breast cancers are now curable—we now need to focus on metastatic disease. While it’s currently not curable, the funds Charlotte’s Vision raises go specifically to metastatic research. Having Michelle donate proceeds from this collection is so generous, and we’re so grateful. We ask others to follow suit and, when planning a fundraiser, to consider Charlotte’s Vision. Together, we can change—and save—lives.”

Founded in memory of Tuam girl Charlotte Sweeney, Charlotte’s Vision directs donations to NBCRI-led metastatic research to improve diagnostics and treatments, with a mission rooted in compassion, momentum and measurable impact. My Tribe Jewellery shares that purpose through design—bringing decades of glasswork expertise to jewellery that’s personal, Irish-made and built to last—now channelling its platform to help accelerate research where it’s most urgently needed.
