Thanks to Vaxxas for their generous donation of AUS$2500 to Charlotte’s vision, supporting research into metastatic breast cancer.
Charlotte worked at Vaxxas in Brisbane for almost 10 years, before her metastatic breast cancer diagnosis led to her return to Tuam.
Vaxxas CEO David Hoey, and the Vaxxas team, were recognised with an AmCham Alliance Award in the Biotechnology category. The recognition included a prize money component from which Vaxxas decided to make a donation to Charlotte’s Vision. In Charlotte’s memory, Vaxxas also opened ‘Charlotte’s Garden’. For employees this is a dedicated space ‘to step back from work deadlines and complexities, and come together to reconnect, laugh, dance and breathe’.
The garden is a beautiful tribute to Charlotte’s memory and we thank Vaxxas for their support of Charlotte’s Vision.
