Charlotte’s Vision is launched in partnership with National Breast Cancer Research Institute.

Charlotte passed away in December 2021 when the cancer in her breast spread to her liver. After her death her friends and family wanted to provide more hope for other patients diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Following a meeting with Professor Michael Kearns and chairperson of NBCRI Caroline Loughnane, it was agreed we would set up Charlotte’s Vision and that all funds raised will go to metastatic research. Charlotte’s Vision will be governed by the National Breast Cancer Research Institute.

The charity was launched at the Lambe institute in Galway, where we had a tour of the research facilities and Professor Kearns spoke about the way in which funds we raise could be used.
